Seperate Page?

I'm of a mind that specific things and people, like the Farragut, should have two seperate pages, one for the Prime universe, one for the Alternate, if it appeared in the new (2009) film, with the obvious exception of things like the Kelvin, which existed simultaneously in both timelines. It seems like just adding an "alternate" section to the page makes it a bit confusing. Any thoughts? --Ibanesse 04:51, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Problem is, we don't really know it is any different of a ship. For example, if it had been constructed before the loss of the Kelvin, the design isn't going to be different. --OuroborosCobra talk 04:58, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Hrm... What about more esoteric concepts, like ship classes? The Constitution-class page has been updated with an "Alternate Reality configuration" sidebar. Shouldn't that be its own page called "Constitution-class (alternate reality)"? It just seems like this could get really out of hand. The Kobayashi Maru page already has a section just plunked right into the middle of the article, with nothing to seperate it from the rest, about the events in the new movie. --Ibanesse 05:01, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

hum !USS Hood is separate ! why him and not farragut ??? C-IMZADI-4 08:08, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Because, unlike the Farragut, the USS Hood was actually seen, and known to be a Constitution class, which we know from the movie must have had a different configuration. Hell, there is now no reason to believe it is the same ship at all in the movie. The same cannot be said of the Farragut, which for all we know was constructed in 2320 (pre-Kelvin). --OuroborosCobra talk 14:05, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

=> 2320 ? So, USS Hood in both universes is a constitution class ("medium sure") ! and USS Farragut is maybe a Constitution class or maybe a Kelvin type ? C-IMZADI-4 18:03, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
