Only because I want to understand where this information came from: (1) Which episode had the registry number? How was it shown? (2) Which episode linked the Ajax to the Apollo class? How was it shown? (3) How do we know that the ship in 2327 and the one in 2368 are the same ship? Thanks to anyone who can answer! Aholland 18:09, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- The registry number was shown in "Redemption II", on the computer screen showing the task force in position. As to it's class, I can't say, as we never actually saw the ship. - AJ Halliwell

- The Apollo class article says "The Apollo-class name has appeared on screen only in a Starship mission status chart in Star Trek: The Next Generation." 31dot (talk) 14:00, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
In Starship mission status, there are two tabs, in first one "bridge version" we can read excelsior class, and the second one "Observation lounge version" we can read apollo class. and USS Ajax is alone with change. (sorry for my english) C-IMZADI-4 (talk) 14:14, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
- No apology is necessary; I just wanted it clearer. You have found an interesting point. I think there could be an article on the Excelsior class Ajax since we have a different registry number and it was doing a different mission. I do not know why there is not one, though that means there was two Starships Ajax at the same time. 31dot (talk) 16:14, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
Here, You have the same problem for USS Zhukov, USS Trieste and his class, but for many others starships on Starship Deploy Status, Excalibur, Atlantis, Endeavour... C-IMZADI-4 (talk) 17:40, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
