I went ahead and began work on this article as I have read the book a while back. So far I have added mostly backstory which is needed to understand the plot of the novel. I have not gotten to tying it into the whole Tholian-Neyel-Federation situation. It could use some fleshing out, trimming, correction of grammar, spelling, missing words, and correction of possible inconsistencies with the actual storyline. I seem to have misplaced my copy of the novel, but nonetheless it was a good Captain Sulu, adventure. Normally I don't read Trek fiction but this one does stand out as a really good one. Had: There is a chapter in the novel that involve events of Star Trek: First Contact, in which Commander Commander Riker and Geordi La Forge convince Dr. Cochrane to continue with his Phoenix project despite the Borg attack. In disbelief, Dr. Cochrane makes the memorable statement "You are all astronauts on some kind of star trek."
Needs to be rephrased, but I haven't read the novel to check it. – Cleanse 10:05, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
