Four Years WarEdit

Due to the Axanar fan movie project, e.g. wikipedia:Prelude to Axanar, I've noted serious "misinformation" for the sake of the project. The Four Years War appears to be made to be the (first) Federation-Klingon War or at least gives viewers that impression. However, the first Federation-Klingon War is established in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Fleet Battles (SFB) to be in 2221. The fan project depicts the Battle of Axanar as the turning point in a huge war like Midway in WWII while FASA makes it a scheme to create facts by the Klingons. The scheme gets discovered and resulted in the war which is actually only a few battles. The reason for this low intensity war can be found in the fact that the Federation-Romulan war was in 2137, according to The Romulan Way and SFB. The Federation became strong and able to take on other star-faring races from then on. The other reason is warp travels took months from each side's core worlds to reach Axanar. Therefore, not many battles could be fought on large scales. Almael (talk) 21:37, January 5, 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure how that's relevant to MA, especially with reference to a) a non-canon release (the FASA game materials), and b) a fan film. -- sulfur (talk) 02:25, January 6, 2016 (UTC)
