Films mentioned Edit
The following background note is quite conclusive.
I'm not able to disprove the statement, so I left it in the article, but I thought it should be brought to the communities' attention to verify it's accuracy. — Vince47 09:40, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- The statement is most likely accurate. Very few movies have been shown on screen and most of those were very old ones (1940s-1960s type). Though the statement is really a poor excuse for a background note. — Morder (talk) 09:58, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
That does seem to be the case. The Andromeda Strain, which came out in 1971 was close, although Trip may have been referring to the novel. In any case someone may run across a reference which challenges this, someday.— Vince47 10:54, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- It wasn't actually "mentioned", just referenced. — Morder (talk) 12:33, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
It's funny that Capricorn asked about Future's End. One of the movie posters for Vampire Vixens appears to have been made in 2003, but it's not really MA appropriate and obviously not what Rain's poster was for as that episode came out in 1996, and i think that poster was for a made up film anyway. :)— Vince47 12:45, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see it as a nitpick but it is worthless as I noted above... :) — Morder (talk) 00:38, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
