Terran meaning Human from Earth Edit

In VOY: "Bride of Chaotica!" Paris gives pointers to Janeway on what to say in her role as Queen Arachnia. He says: "It's... Earthlings not Terrans". This seems to imply that normally humans from Earth are called Terrans during this time. I guess it's not solid proof though. Podex 13:39, January 6, 2011 (UTC)

It could refer to "all humans" just as much, and it doesn't even need to be the standard term during the latter 24th century. It could just be the term that Janeway thought was correct to use in a 1950s-B-movie simulation. -- Cid Highwind 13:56, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah it can be interpreted those ways as well. That's why I didn't want to add it to the article. However the other two things Paris said, phasers and viewscreens are 24th century terms though. Also I would say Earthlings are humans who are born or live on Earth though. Humans born and raised on other planets/colonies might be offended being called Earthlings ;). And yeah, well... you know that's just like eh... my opinion, man. Peace. Podex 14:20, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
