Needs reference Edit

please add a reference. --BlueMars 12:25, Nov 27, 2004 (CET)

I'm assuming this is from VOY: "Relativity" .. but was this term actually used in text/captions, dialogue, script or graphics? if not, it's non-canon and subject to removal -- Captain Mike K. Bartel 10:20, 29 Nov 2004 (CET)

I seem to remember that the displays themselves mentioned TCARS. Although I'm not 100% sure about the explanation of the acronym -- Harry 15:29, 10 Dec 2004 (CET)

the move Edit

Sorry about having to move it twice, somehow I accidentally added character spacing the first time, and had to rectify that. Now it's properly at a capitalized acronym. -- THOR 13:07, 21 Mar 2005 (EST)

Stands for Edit

I removed the following, which has been removed several times in the past for being fan speculation:

  • TCARS may stand for "Temporal Computer Access and Retrieval System.

Maybe it stands for Timeship Computer Access and Retrieval System. Or Tom Clancy's Amazing Raccoon Stories (TM). For this to return, we need some comment from the production staff as to what they intended. –Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 23:09, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

I thought for sure I read that it was your latter suggestion. ;) --31dot 23:14, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
