Inaccurate Edit

From the looks of it, this entire page has problems. Lots of these ships (if not, indeed, them all) were never "studio models"; they were CG models. We elsewhere distinguish between the two types on Memory Alpha, so why not here too? Even the first starship model listed (the , the most often depicted and arguably most important model of this entire list) was never a "studio model". --Defiant (talk) 07:00, October 22, 2015 (UTC)

Studio model makes it clear that CGI models are studio models, if not physical models. They are covered on the CGI page, but beyond that rather common sense split, there isn't much to suggest that "studio" in front of model can only ever mean "physical". Since all the studio model pages have a unified naming scheme and cover both physical and CG models, this isn't a "problem" with just this page, assuming it's a problem at all, but either way, this discussion should be a forum post or at the main studio model talk page. - Archduk3 00:30, November 30, 2016 (UTC)
