Tom Paris?Edit

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... FAIRLY certain Tom Paris never became a Commander on screen/canonically. Can anyone provide a citation for this addition provided by an Anon? – Hossrex 23:28, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

He wore Lieutenant Commander pips in the "Before and After" alternate future, although he was addressed as "lieutenant." – Enterprise1981 18:31, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Lt. Cmdr. Beverly Crusher?Edit

This is turning into a Revision issue, so I'm going to ask. Where is she regarded as a Lieutenant Commander? Do we have a cite for this? -- Kooky 21:57, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Just a guess on my part(without having seen the ep recently), but what about in "Violations"? Wasn't there a flashback scene there where she was depicted as one?--31dot 22:23, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Actually, Beverly was not in uniform in that flashback. In "Thine Own Self", Troi asked Beverly why she "decided to become a commander" suggesting she was lieutenant commander prior to 2362.– Enterprise1981 18:31, September 13, 2009 (UTC)

Data? Edit

When was Data the first officer of the Enterprise-E? I know he was acting first officer in "Chain of Command Part II" and parts of "Gambit Part I/II" of the Enterprise-D and acting captain in "Angel One," "Night Terrors" and parts "Gambit Part I/II". I don't recall him ever being made first officer of the Enterprise-E. It was likely he was due to become first officer after Riker moved to the Titan but this was implied, not directly addressed. 21:00, January 27, 2015 (UTC)

He was set to be the first officer; Picard referred to Data as "my new first officer" at the start of the film. 31dot (talk) 23:52, January 27, 2015 (UTC)

Split Edit

Also includes the split suggestion for Starfleet lieutenants.

The "in between" ranks have enough information to warrent their own articles, and have them at their own pages would make link maintenance easier. - Archduk3 03:57, March 18, 2016 (UTC)
