Fascinations kits Edit

In 2014, Fascinations came out with 4 metal Trek model kits (pls. see article). Since they require a considerable amount of effort to build (from flat sheets), I'm thinking they should be listed under this article rather than Star Trek starship miniatures, though there are arguments either way. Thoughts? -- Darth Duranium (talk) 06:48, March 2, 2015 (UTC)

To me, since these apparently require a considerable, the "considerable" being the paramount parameter here (as opposed those miniatures that sometimes only require less than 5, completed and finished – the "finished" the paramount parameter in this case – pieces clicked together for final assembly), amount of assembly, indicate they should be considered model kits--Sennim (talk) 11:17, March 2, 2015 (UTC)

Cheers, Sennim. Done and dusted.-- Darth Duranium (talk) 10:09, March 11, 2015 (UTC)

TWOK 1701 kit changes vs. TMP edition Edit

The AMT/Ertl 6675 kit that was released for Wrath of Khan (and used again for the next 4 movies) has a minor/major (depending on who you are and whether you build Trek models) change: the addition of paneling on the molds. This paneling is visible in the film itself, but it had the unintended side-effect of making the TMP release of the Enterprise model a collectors item. Should we add a note about the mold change?
