No it isnt the same as the comic. These are three novels made years later. However -- i cant ever remember seeing these three novels called "The Mirror Universe Trilogy" -- they are three novels from the "Shatnerverse" series that take place in the mirror universe.
I've already left a note for Mr. Kirk about putting "Star Trek:" at the beginning of every article he writes -- no one links to these names because its unnatural, the more simple name is more intuitive (indeed, half the pages on this page could have "Star Trek:" at the beginning, but this isnt a precedent i'd like to set.) -- Captain Mike K.
