Do we really need a chapter by chapter rundown of the book? Wouldn't a short compact summary be preferable?docdude316 18:28, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

In my opinion, the shorter and more point-by-point, the better - we don't need to reproduce descriptive text (after all, if any character or reference is described in a noteworthy manner, add it to said char. or ref. description in the characters/references subsections.
The chapter separators help (when i am writing) to keep the summary on track, for example, they have been used in World Without End to bookend a short paragraph about each chapter. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 01:24, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
I don't have any problems with using chapter headings, but if each chapter summary is as long or longer than the prologue summary this page is going to go on forever. It'll be faster and more enjoyable to read the book. Just my $0.02.docdude316 03:04, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Agreed.. i much prefer that the "characters" and "references" sections be the part of the MA novel article that is more detailed, the summary is definitely less important in my opinion. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 23:07, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
