I'm going to jump in on this. I also support the creation of bed. As per paper, pen, head etc. In fact I never did understand why door was deleted. We need some kind of policy on this, which objects from Trek get pages seems rather arbitrary. Jaf 18:11, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Jaf
- I especially want this because we know of differences in beds. We have seen descriptions of how and why people have problems with Cardassian beds. We have seen how Klingon "beds" lack mattresses. - Door was deleted because nobody took the time to re-write it from a dictionary term to an encyclopedia article. If I remember correctly, it was brought up for deletion twice, the second time after it had stayed in limbo for over a month. The door page can still be created, but it will only stay if someone takes the time to write on the various door technologies rather than simply stating "A door is yada-yada-yada. Starships have doors on each deck". That just won't do. If someone can write a thorough article on the various types of beds and how various species use (or don't use) beds, then I'm all for a bed page. --From Andoria with Love 23:06, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
