I have removed the following:

Coincidentally, Star Trek: Enterprise star Scott Bakula is currently starring in a production of the play Shenandoah in Washington, DC.

I don't think this is relevant to the article. -- TrekFan Talk 15:05, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Citation neededEdit

The U.S. Navy's first zeppelin-type rigid airship (ZR-1), built in 1923, was also named U.S.S. Shenandoah. The airship was lost in 1925 when it was torn apart by a violent thunderstorm over Ohio. The public school district serving the area where the Shenandoah crashed names its sports teams the "Zeps" after the airship.

While this is a great piece of background information that I found quite interesting, I have added an {{incite}} to it so if anyone has a source for this, that would be awesome! --| TrekFan Open a channel 20:13, December 31, 2011 (UTC)

Completely irrelevant since there have been several Shenandoahs, we have no reason to think the Zeppelin was the reference, and we are not Wikipedia, what does a public school team have to do with Star Trek, nothing. - Archduk3 21:18, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
Sorry; understood. Thought it might be interesting background. No offense intended.-- 22:06, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
