I'm not too sure about this one.. It sounds a lot to me like Picard says 'Seldonis IV' in Chain of Command Pt. II. Later though Riker and Lemec both sound like they're saying Solanis Convention.. I found a script for the episode online which also says 'Seldonis IV'. There were *also* a few link to a non existant article for Seldonis V Convention.. I've referenced both Seldonis IV Convention and Solanis Convention in Chain of Command 2, and changed the links for Seldonis V to Seldonis IV. I think this is the best way to sort it out? - According the the script, Picard says Seldonis IV convention (actually, it's "Four" in the script, but that would be meant for the actors anyway), Riker later says Seldonis convention. No reference to Solanis, and I think a small "c" is the correct capitalization here (not completely sure, though). I think of those two the first one short be the article, the second a redirect to it (perhaps those with a capital "C" as well), but "Solanis Convention" should be deleted - there might be another reference in another episode to that convention, but it is apparently not from either "Chain of Command" episode. -- Cid Highwind 11:07, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
I was thinking of Convention vs convention when creating it, but noticed that a lot of other articles linked from Diplomacy article have capitals (Accord, Convention, Treaty, etc) so I went with Convention.. Skold 11:22, 14 Jan 2006 (UTC)
- I don't really know, either - it's one of those topics no one really wants to discuss or has a authoritative response to, I guess. Let's just keep it here for the moment, but I'll merge the misspelled one here now. -- Cid Highwind 10:54, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
- The Seldonis Convention is an obvious parallel to Earth's Geneva Conventions.
Guess I should archive this...Obvious? Maybe, but is it a parallel? If it is, it needs a cite. — Morder 07:55, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
The location Edit
Should there not be a Seldonis IV article, where this treaty was signed/written?--31dot 14:45, November 16, 2011 (UTC)
