Historically, on OUR Earth, those executed during the trials were not burned at the stake. Does Trek canon lore suggest otherwise for Trek's Earth?--Fenian 21:46, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Although I did not pay too much attention to those details when I watched the episode, at least in terms of my memory, I do believe I took notes on it somewhere that I can use to add/limit to what the episode described or limited the trials to. --Alan del Beccio 22:17, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
The episode indeed makes reference to the burning of Witches in Salem, another Trek divergence from our time-line. --Fenian 02:31, 21 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- It is not so much that, but the fact that "witch burning" has always been a popular misconception in history, and is more likely an oversight by the writers (of an animated TV show for children) than a divergence in history. --Alan del Beccio 02:49, 21 Oct 2005 (UTC)
