Species pageEdit

Is this article necessary? I can accept some of these "X's species" articles when there is some information to put in them, but all this article says is that "He was a species". It can't even say what he looks like, which is the argument used in favor of keeping these types of articles. Isn't it possible that this is an existing species?--31dot 21:52, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

It's even possible that these three guys don't even belong to the same species, but are just members of some futuristic freezer bag fanclub - or, more seriously, some religious group or military organization. In any case, we know nothing about this potential species, which means we don't need an article about it. Merge with the character article. -- Cid Highwind 22:23, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for deleting/merging this. >< I didn't even think that Rul may or may not even be of an unique species. All the other "(someone)'s species" pages at least are clearly a new species. Sorry about this. --Golden Monkey 14:36, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Rul's name Edit

I assume the source of the name comes from the script...anyone know? — Morder (talk) 02:56, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

The script has QUARK: "Sold to Rul the Obscure for a hundred and fifty-one latinum bars." [1] which is backed up by an online transcript. [2]Cleanse 04:18, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

Bah...Well, I *could* have watched the episode again...Oh well, thanks. :) — Morder (talk) 04:21, December 9, 2009 (UTC)

How do we know that the picture is of Rul the Obscure? Edit

When Quark says "sold to Rul the Obscure" we see Kolos turn around and the two aliens with the blue head coverings seem to be congratulating each other. How do we know which one is Rul? Kolos seems to be looking at the one on the left but it's hard to be sure. Also how do we know the name of the actor who played Rul? NetSpiker (talk) 23:46, February 1, 2016 (UTC)

If it is not in the credits of the episode, it could be on a call sheet. 31dot (talk) 00:09, February 2, 2016 (UTC)
