Two questions: 1. I know from history that Leonardo da Vinci lived in Rome for a while, but I can't find it mentioned anywhere in canon, and I'm somewhat confused if policy allows listing him, since it's not really speculation, and Da vinci is a well-established character in Star Trek. Furthermore, in a Janeways holodeck simulation Da Vinci is almost certainly set in his workshop in Rome, since he considers moving to France (which he thus hasn't done yet), while St. John the Baptist is present, a painting he started and completed during his Rome period, directly after which he moved to France. So, euh, basicly I think that even if I can't list Da Vinci a note should be made about this holoprogram most likely being set in Rome (Unless of course some canon source disproves it, it should be Rome, but writers tend to make errors in this kind of things)

2.I read (but I can't clearly recall, though there could be a Colosseum) that some images of Rome were seen in the resetting timeline in (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II"). Anyone knows if there is something there that can be used to illustrate the article? Capricorn 18:03, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

No Coliseum that I can see, but there were images of Romulus/Remus, a chariot race, and a Roman carriage in the time stream. Info on those have been added to the article. As for Da Vinci, if it wasn't mentioned in Trek, then the most we can do is add a brief background bit stating that he lived in Rome. That said, it is very likely, as you said, that the holodeck scenes in "Concerning Flight" were indeed set in Rome, but unless it's verified, I would recommend only stating as a background note that it may be Rome. (Although I seem to recall him making reference to "Florentines", so... maybe he was in Florence?) --From Andoria with Love 00:06, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
thats quite unlikely given real-world history, but its exactly the kind of bad writer research I was afraid might come up haha. Oh well then. Anyway, I'm still gonna add the "brief background note" about Da Vinci living in Rome in real life, and on a sidenote, thanks for the time stream link, I fruitlessly searched the web for a breakdown, never realising there was one right here on our wonderful MA. No suitable images to illustrate Rome though :( Capricorn 12:31, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
