Merge suggestion Edit

I've added a merge suggestion with Jean-Marc Lofficier for the following reasons:

  • The couple has since their marriage moved as a unity...In all publications I've come across they were co-credited (quite frankly, very admirable)
  • Info on both pages therefore is virtually identical

When decided to do so I also propose to move the page to: "Lofficier, Jean-Marc, and Randy" with redirects on both entries in place, as it would, quite honestly make linking to them more easy--Sennim 18:52, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not really sure this is a good idea. Do we have combined pages like this? - Archduk3 23:19, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

Most likely not, but I've known them, figuratively speaking, for their comic efforts (as I'm a rabbit Moebius fan, and I mean RABBIT)...but I've NEVER seen them mentioned separately, hence my proposal--Sennim 23:51, June 22, 2012 (UTC)

This seems kind of like the George and Gracie pair-up. I'd like to oppose this suggestion, as these are clearly two separate individuals and, in most cases, we have individual pages for individuals (such as the obvious Michael Okuda and Denise Okuda, as well as Garfield Reeves-Stevens and Judith Reeves-Stevens, etc.) --Defiant 00:04, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
Oppose. This seems like a prior proposal to merge Jessica and Vanessa Bova; separate people, separate articles. 31dot 00:09, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
I will Oppose also. The Sharp Brothers are another example of the same. We still have articles for each of the pair of them, just in their case they are actually credited as "The Sharp Brothers", while Randy and Jean-Marc are credited as "Randy & Jean-Marc Lofficier". -- sulfur 01:57, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
  • Withdraw--No need to drag this along further than its needs to be. Valid arguments to oppose this have been presented in my view.--Sennim 02:23, June 23, 2012 (UTC)
