Is it "Q Affects!" or "Q Effects!"? (Cover has the latter, but that doesn't mean the story-title does.) (Obviously I haven't read it.) --Sasoriza 02:11, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Q Affects Effects

The actual title of the issue...

The cover has "Q Effects!", the title page has "Q Affects!". No idea why. But I'm going to upload a cropped shot of the title and make a note of it in the BG info shortly. I just had a few other things on my plate to deal with first. :) -- Sulfur 02:14, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Update. Here's the image of the title page. -- Sulfur 02:22, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Ah. Art dept. snafus. Brings back memories... Thanks for clarifying. --Sasoriza 00:39, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

The cover text is not definitive in comics (it is done after the fact by 'ad people'), it is the title page which carries the actuality of what the artists and writers intended.
In this case it seems they were playing on the double meaning between 'affects' and 'effects' -- as in "we suspect Q is pretending to be something" = "affect"... -- Captain MKB 00:41, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
