Page move[]

Since "GNDN" is about as canon as "glop-on-a-stick" (jumja stick), the logical move for this (at least in the case of the current article content) is to move it to "power relay," as that best decribes the "GNDN" referenced in the dialog that the engineer was told to repair. If however, this proves to be untrue (as in GNDN is found on other pipes that couldn't possibly be power relays) then it might be necessary to create an alternative to this move. --Alan del Beccio 23:51, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Well, since "GNDN" is both visible on that pipe in the image (in-universe reference) and it has a specific production POV meaning (meta reference), we should at least keep GNDN as a redirect. -- Cid Highwind 00:06, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)
That was my intention-- that's why I bolded the letters in the background section. --Alan del Beccio 00:59, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)

Non-canon meaning of GNDN[]

Was it ever said anywhere, even non-canon refs, what this could stand for in-universe? -- LauraCC (talk) 17:10, October 2, 2015 (UTC)

You can read the answer in the background section of the article. Tom (talk) 19:55, January 24, 2016 (UTC)

I said in-universe, not the real world joke. I knew that one already. Like "General Network Dynamic Node". --LauraCC (talk) 18:01, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
