The USS Portland was probably named after the epynomous cities in Maine and/or Oregon. {{incite|presumably is enough}}

Oregon vs. Maine

I think this should probably be split into two articles, seeing as how there are two different Portlands. I don't know if Portland, Maine was ever directly referenced, but Sisko's sister is said to have lived in Portland, Oregon. Madnana42 (talk) 10:51, September 9, 2020 (UTC)
