should we separate enties about "asteroids" from "planetoids" (also "minor planets" and "dwarf planets") there are differences in their definitions that cold be expounded upon further.
for example: minor planets should be round, asteroids aren't necessarily, planetoids seem to be a middle ground, based on oddly shaped Vandor -- Captain M.K.B. 16:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- Spock seems to make a distinction between the two in "Metamorphosis": "Most unusual for its size. The body seems to be iron and nickel. More than an asteroid. Like a small planetoid, I should say.
