Point of View Edit

Should this article be placed in the Real World point of view? If MA acts as a Federation database there should be no entry for the Paxans, as no one other than Data is aware of them(and he was ordered not to say anything). Or, should just a sentence at the end of the article state that? 31dot 21:51, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

I added a sentence at the end of the article, however, feel free to change or remove it if need be. 31dot 19:55, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

The disclaimer was really out of place and just didn't fit in at all. I'm not sure how, if at all, we can correct this, but I do see your point of view, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. :) -- Sulfur 21:27, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
Are there other similar instances of such an occurence?(VOY: "Unforgettable", maybe?) If there was it could be a new category, (a category of Forgotten species)but obviously a category of one or two is unacceptable. Ah well, something to think about anyway. Thank you for your thoughts. :). 31dot 21:52, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
I removed the PNA, following Memory Alpha:Point of view:
"There are some cases in Star Trek stories in which it was made clear that certain information is highly classified, or entirely unknown due to memory wipes or similar plot twists. While in theory these things are not known to anyone within the Star Trek universe, Memory Alpha's POV is all-knowing, just like the television viewer."

Thanks for finding the policy for me. 31dot 02:00, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
