Klingon outpostEdit

Trouble with Tribbles never mentioned any Klingon outpost, the question to Checov was, how close will we get to Klingon space on our current course. --TOSrules 21:17, Feb 1, 2005 (CET)

I checked the source -- I'm watching the episode right now. Here's the dialogue:
  • KIRK : How close will we come to the Klingon outpost if we continue on course?
  • CHEKOV : 1 parsec, sir.. Close enough to smell them.
I think it is fairly clear there was a Klingon outpost... -- Captain Mike K. Bartel 21:53, 1 Feb 2005 (CET)

PNA-incomplete Edit

Missing refereces:

Also, I removed "This term was first used in Star Trek in TOS: "Arena", but has rarely been used in TNG-era productions." As you can see above, it was predominantly used in VOY, just rarely recognized. VOY =12, TOS=6, TNG=5, ENT=1. -- Alan 15:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

It is interesting to note that the Enterprise began its journey back across those 500 parsecs to Cestus III at warp 1. At that rate it would have taken the ship over 1,600 years to reach its destination.
Textbook nitpicking. -- Capricorn 06:58, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
