Is this ever even discussed in Trek? Hell, it's not even a particularly common term according to Wikipedia's entry.
In short, is this actually of value, merit, and relevance on MA? -- sulfur (talk) 13:33, December 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I've never heard of that term either. I can certainly see the merit in say, the case of alt-Kirk and how was affected by having lost his father and his relationship with alt-Pike as a result, or Alexander being raised by a clueless Worf, or his elderly grandparents, after his mother was murdered. However, I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place for it, but can I think of a better idea? no. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 14:09, December 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I've removed this. Being raised by a single parent doesn't fit the definition of a "half-orphan", nor has it been suggested as such in Star Trek. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 23:45, September 25, 2017 (UTC)
