Can anyone confirm this appeared in "Descent, Part II", cause I don't think it did. Reference yes, appeared no. -AJHalliwell 17:58, 3 Jul 2005 (UTC)

An exterior shot was shown only in Part I. All of Part II took place either on or near the Borg planet. It might have been shown in the "Last Time on Star Trek: The Next Generation" recap, if that counts as an appearance... -- SmokeDetector47 // talk 05:35, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Episode I only! Edit

The action moves thru the transwarp conduit by the end of episode I and Ohniaka III is not seen again. Co-incidentally the borg base seen in episode II is the same building used in Marilyn Manson's 'The Dope Show Video'. The interior shots are of actual rooms inside the building in Southern California. The room where Data is killing off small chunks of Geordie's brain is where Marilyn Manson 'wears' the blood transfusion kit; a very famous piece of modern art.

  • That buildings been used a number of times (does it have a page on MA? Like the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant? It should.) It was used as the Command Center in the first Power Rangers back in the early-90's, and as Camp Khitomer in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Location scouters probably liked that it looks kinda weird, alien/futuristic like. -AJHalliwell 06:17, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
    • It's the Brandeis-Bardin Institute in Southern California. The building was heavily modified via matte painting for Trek VI and "Descent," but it appeared mostly intact for the Marilyn Manson video, the movie Lawnmower Man (where it was blown up by David Stipes), and four Power Rangers series: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo, and Power Rangers Turbo. And I'm not sure, but I've always had a sneaking suspicion the barn and farm area shown on the page are where Voyager's crew were taken in "Caretaker." -- SmokeDetector47 // talk 20:15, 4 Jul 2005 (UTC)
