Stuff about nucleons Edit

a nucleon is a collective name for the two Baryons, the Proton and the Neutron. They are constituents of the atomic nucleus and till the 1960s were thought to be elementary. In those days their interactions (now called internucleon interactions) defined StrongForce. Now they are known to be composite particles, made of Quarks and Gluons. Understanding the nucleons' properties is one of the major goals of QuantumChromoDynamic, the modern theory of strong interactions. • Keep. Nucleons are only mentioned in one episode, it seems, "Emanations" (couldn't find anything else through the script and transcript search). I changed the article accordingly so it can be kept now. --Jörg 14:02, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Since Cid's suggestion was to "add Trek-related content, or delete", we can keep this now. --From Andoria with Love 12:06, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Trek-related data added, and it no longer meets the PfD requirements. Kept. -- Sulfur 12:59, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
