It never occurred to me that the Norkan Campaigns could be against the Federation. The Federation called it a massacre, but the way the scene played always suggested to me that it was against a third party. The two powers had no real contact since 2311's Tomed Incident, which would've required Jarok to be an Admiral for 50+ years. Do we have some specific evidence that this was not against another power?

I agree, and have made the changes. -- Captain MKB 02:04, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Then again, would Starfleet react so strongly to an attack that wasn't on the Federation? Jarok wasn't necessarily an admiral when he headed the attacks, and given Vulcan lifespans maybe he has held a high rank for over fifty years. -- Kingfisher 02:09, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Probably yes, Starfleet would react strongly, just like the American military would react strongly if they captured Radovan Karadžić, the man who ordered the cleansing of Muslim Bosnians, or Rudolf Höß, despite the lack of almost any American prisoners at Auschwitz. --OuroborosCobra talk 02:25, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Romulan longevity, Pardek had known Spock for nearly 80 years, placing Pardek around Tuvok's age, give or take. Tuvok clearly aged more gracefully. Then again, look at how ungracefully Neral aged. Still, I'm not inclined to believe he would have necessarily been an Admiral for that long, if indeed that is the case. --Alan 13:37, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
