- "No Star Trek series has aired on the national NBC network since..."
That needs to be clarified some or better explained, because someone reading it might be forced to disagree. Using my own recollection of previous first run broadcasts of Star Trek: CBS always aired first run TNG, and NBC always ran first run DS9 back in the 80s/90s in my area, and later FOX had VOY and ENT. If we have Spike and G4 and every other station that ran a series, first run or syndicated, then shouldn't we have, (as per my example) this entry corrected and a page form the Fox Broadcasting Company? --Alan 21:33, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- If DS9 was first aired on NBC in some markets, then the line is incorrect and needs to be removed. Or, maybe reword it to say that there hasn't been a Trek series made specifically for NBC, but I don't think that's needed. As for an article for Fox, I certainly don't see why we can't have one. Didn't Fox air first runs of TNG episodes in some markets? --From Andoria with Love 07:12, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think the point it's trying to make is that no series since has aired as part of NBC's national network package. Local affiliates may have aired them as part of their syndication package, like yours, Alan, but that's WLIO (for example), not NBC, airing them. -- Michael Warren | Talk 09:39, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
