The way that this links to the episode page, galileo seven, has been preserved. Why do it this way? Should the word 'the' link to the episode, while 'galileo seven' link to the shuttlecraft page?
no, the reference is to the episode, not the shuttlecraft. The shuttle has nothing to do with Murasaki, with exception of the fact that it visited it, the title, on the other hand has everything to do with '312 as it appeared in that episode. --220.127.116.11 10:02, 10 Jan 2005 (CET)
I was questioning the way the wiki html link to the episode is set up. Is it correct? Is this what the original poster intended?
- Every article links to an episode. "The Galileo Seven" is italicized because it refers to the name of a ship in the name of the episode.--18.104.22.168 10:14, 10 Jan 2005 (CET)
This was added to the main body of the page today... it's uncited, it's speculative, etc.
- The name "Murasaki" apparently comes from the Japanese word for "purple" (or "gromwell", a type of purple flower), although it is not clear why the apparently green-colored Murasaki Quasar was given this name. It may be more specifically related to Murasaki Shikibu, the author of The Tale of Genji, or to the work's heroine Murasaki; the name "Hikaru Sulu" is also a reference to The Tale.
