Needs episode information as well as more information on what happened to him after he refused rescue.

  • The information seems basically complete, the character was only shown in one episode. I am sure there are only minor bits left to include. Also, please add the ~~~~ code to indicate who you are in discussions, thanks. Enzo Aquarius 15:36, 30 Mar 2005 (EST)
  • Isn't it possible that he lived until 2151? T'Pol's statement "maybe longer" when Archer and Tucker are talking about his age and the fact that she visited Carbon Creek would seem to suggest this. Maybe this should be noted? 13:23, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

Speculation Edit

  • Given the length of Vulcan lifespans, it is quite possible that Mestral lived to see the official First Contact between Vulcans and Humans in 2063.'

removed is also quite possible that he died or some other tragedy. — Morder 06:06, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Removed a statement similar to this today.--31dot 20:58, February 5, 2012 (UTC)
At the end of the episode, the invention of "velcro" is used to pay for Maggie's son's college education. Velcro was invented in 1948 by a Swiss electrical engineer named George de Mestral. The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).
A similar statement is already in the article- why are you posting it here? 31dot (talk) 10:08, January 4, 2013 (UTC)
