Spelled with "i" or "y"? Edit

I've seen both...somewhere....--LauraCC (talk) 15:21, April 23, 2015 (UTC)

If you have seen both and they have appeared in a canon production (episode or movie) then you can always add a redirect to it. --| TrekFan Open a channel 16:56, April 23, 2015 (UTC)

It's spelled with a "y" in the article about (TOS: "Court Martial"), and I think it was spelled that way possibly in the captions on the episode. I know that the suffix "lyte" is used in the word "electrolyte", so there's no reason it couldn't be true here too.--LauraCC (talk) 17:01, April 23, 2015 (UTC)

Before adding a redirect, find the other spelling (in a canon source) and add notes to the BG info about what spelling was seen where. -- sulfur (talk) 17:02, April 23, 2015 (UTC)
What sulfur said. If it's just in the article then it's probably been mis-spelled by whomever wrote it in the first place. As for the captions, they are frequently incorrect anyway. --| TrekFan Open a channel 17:03, April 23, 2015 (UTC)
