Impulse drive
They do have an impulse drive. The screen was taken as the ship is going to warp, before which the impulse drive appears to deactivate. Otherwise, it has the exact same drive arrangment of the Kelvin. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.31.158.220.
Mayflower-type...?
This ship is referenced in the DVD as to resembling the Miranda class, despite the fact its been given its own type. Can someone please CLARIFY that this is actually referenced as a Mayflower-type, in an actual source? Or i may request this page to be deleted. XNERZHULx 17:49, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

- Yes, that it's not a Miranda-class until some canon source calls it that, since it's not exactly like the Maranda-class that we know. Anything else is speculation. - Archduk3 18:17, April 15, 2011 (UTC)

- Well, depending on your take on the size of the Constitution-class[!], this ship can be several times larger then the Miranda-class. The nacelles are different, the bridge module is different, and the entire back end of the saucer is different as well. - Archduk3 18:26, April 15, 2011 (UTC)
- The non-refit version of the Miranda class looks very similar to this. Yes, i admit, it doesn't look the same so i can accept it as a Mayflower-type (i dont 100% agree, but i can live with it, because im giving it the benefit of the doubt) but i would still like to see actual references to how it is different, as theyll make this article more valid.
