Does anyone know where Dougherty's involvement with Section 31 was stated in Rogue? I read the book recently, and don't remember any such references, and a Search Inside This Book search on Amazon didn't show the names Matthew or Dougherty mentioned at all.--Mste0819
What was Admiral Dougherty's motive for illegally helping the Son'a. Was there ever a reason givin?

And it wasn't illegal, the Federation knew he and the Son'a were working together from the start with their permission (though I'm sure he mentioned it was under their orders). – Fadm tyler 17:19, January 8, 2010 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly, the novelization of the film explains how he was married to a woman who was several decades older than him, and after she died of old age while he was still comparably young, he set out to find a way to cheat death. Also, I think several novels suggest he was a member of Section 31... -- SaganamiFan 15:40, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
