Title Edit

I think this should be moved to "Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi" since that was his real name. "Mahatma" is a title, and if we're going from just an in-Trek perspective, The Doctor did say "The Mahatma would...".– Cleanse ( talk | contribs ) 09:08, April 29, 2010 (UTC)

Now, that Mahatma is treated separately as a title, yes this should be moved. We don't have "Gul Dukat" or "King Louis XIV" as page names. Kennelly (talk) 08:21, November 21, 2016 (UTC)
Apart from "the mahatma", he wasn't identified in the episode - but presumably he was in the script. I'd be interested to learn how it referred to him. -- Capricorn (talk) 03:31, November 22, 2016 (UTC)
I'm mostly in favor of moving this to Gandhi, but curiously even Wikipedia uses this name space, as if "Mahatma" was his name (v. title). The script described the character simply as "Gandhi" (x9), and evidently the end credits misspelled his name as "Ghandi". --Alan del Beccio (talk) 14:23, January 5, 2018 (UTC)
