Pls unprotect the Leonidas page to rewrite some of the info there which is presented in a confusing way. For example it says, Leonidas "led his people against the..." just to be mentioned later "he was wiped out along with a small band". One could think all of Sparta went to war a few of them were killed with their king. Use your reason and do something about it.--Faramir 07:42, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- and the small band were his people.. what could be less clear than that? there's no indication in the article he displaced his entire population for the one battle.

"Leonidas was a king of Sparta who led an army of his people against the Persians at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC. Leonidas, as well as the small band of men with him, were wiped out in the battle."
There is no indication in this article that the army of his people was the small band of men with him. One could likely think the latter was his personal guard and not the army itself.--Faramir 08:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- I rewrote it in the terminology used in the episode referenced. --Alan del Beccio 23:58, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
