This device has been heard in SEVERAL Star Trek shows, even movies. DO NOT DELETE. THIS IS CANON. 23:15, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Propose merge Edit

I agree that this warrants being mentioned, but I question whether it needs to be a seperate article. I'm not sure what information would go here besides the fact that a klaxon is a type of audio signal and they signify an alert. I think it would be redundant to list examples of when klaxons are heard when articles on alert signals exist, specifically and generally. Just a thought. 31dot 00:17, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

I added two references to klaxon that came to mind. One being the only verbal reference to it, from TNG, and the other being about it from ENT. I'm sure there are other instances that are slipping my mind, like a time Picard may have said "turn that damned racket off"...nevertheless, Reed clearly referred to the two sounds he played, one being a klaxon, as "a new alert signal." Audio or visual, in this case, would be the type of alert signal. --Alan del Beccio 07:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Audio samplesEdit

We need audio samples from all of the ST TV series and movies for the Klaxon article. Agree ? Disagree ? 00:02, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I have the TOS version of the klaxon... somewhere. :\ --From Andoria with Love 01:35, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
