I was wondering if it is appropriate to list both Occupations and its subcategory Legal occupations as categories for this article. It doesn't matter to me which, I'd just like to know for the future. 31dot 12:32, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

If something is in a subcategory, then it's automagically in the category above too. So, logically, only "legal occupations" should be listed. Currently, the only exception to that rule is the "performers" category, where there is an ongoing debate. :)
Having said that, not all of the descriptions of "judge" are legal occupations, some are just general "occupations", so in this case, it could be easily argued that it could fall under both categories in separate roles. -- Sulfur 13:50, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I see what you mean about different types of judges now that you mentioned it. 31dot 14:46, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
