In Homefront, Sisko says, Wait until you see the size of the eggplants I'm getting out of my garden this year. As big as crenshaw melons and twice as heavy. This is absurd. Melons are very dense. Eggplants are not. An eggplant the same size as a crenshaw melon would weigh less than half of the melon. 184.108.40.206 01:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

- ... and no one has ever been exaggerative while being boastful. I once heard someone state that they were so hungry they could eat an entire horse. Or that they had grown a tomato the size of a house... of course, they might have had a very small house. These absurd liars must be stopped. -- Captain MKB 04:53, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Joseph "dead" before his first appaearance?Edit
I am just watching DS9 and I am at the end of the third season. And everytime Sisko mentions his father, he speaks about him in past tense, that "he was a chef" and "when he became ill, there was nothing he [Ben] could do about it" and so on. Was he originally supposed to be dead and then the writers decided otherwise?

- That's seems true, though it was never explicitly stated that he was dead, just that he was ill (could have gotten better, afterall) or that he was a chef (could have retired because he was ill, etc). The writers also seem to have "forgotten" about his brothers too, but all of this is already mentioned in the article. --Alan 14:51, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
Artificial organs? Edit
At some point, he became gravely ill; this was very traumatic for Benjamin, although Joseph subsequently recovered, receiving several artificial organs. (DS9: "The Alternate")
Artificial organs in J. Sisko? I never heard of them... Jackoverfull 23:12, November 14, 2009 (UTC)
