How were Kira and Dax able to retrieve the fighter in The Siege if the surface was rendered uninhabitable in Progress? Or could Lunar V base be somewhere else entirely and not on Jeraddo? Starfleetjedi 07:56, 12 September 2008 (UTC)

- The Bajoran nomenclatural term Jeraddo used for Lunar V, as created by series writer Peter Allan Fields, is likely a modification of the English-transliterated name Jerad or Jared (amongst other variations), itself taken from Hebrew name Yered meaning "descent", "to lower", "fall"; accounting to its real world etymological significance, Bajor's fifth moon was prominently featured in the computer game Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen [as detailed below].
