James Averys age Edit

Since there has been a conflict about his age I am going to place a link here for his age that is displayed in public records. [Public Record Age] --BorgKnight (talk) 06:08, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

From what I can determine looking around the net and Wikipedia, the 1945 claim comes from his publicist/agent while we have the public record stating 1948(for some reason it is not displaying currently). His agent might be in error unintentionally or deliberately. 31dot (talk) 10:49, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

The one thing I found that really supports it being an error is the fact about him enter the Navy after high school. It is said he was in the Navy from '68 to '69. If he enter the Navy in '68 after leaving high school, with the age they are currently saying he would of been about 22 or 23 leaving high school which doesn't make much sense. --BorgKnight (talk) 11:02, January 7, 2014 (UTC)

The general consensus now seems to be that his age was 68, born in 1945, so I would suggest we go with that age. The publicist is stated as saying that she took his age from his driving licence. --BorgKnight (talk) 14:58, January 15, 2014 (UTC)

Also 68. [1] Tom (talk) 00:01, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

This link [2] Also has the following from his publicist : "His age was being widely reported as 65 as news of his death spread on Wednesday, but publicist Cynthia Snyder told TODAY that she was reading the correct date of birth from the actor's driver's license." --BorgKnight (talk) 02:09, January 17, 2014 (UTC)

The information regarding Avery being a candidate for the role of Worf is missing a citation. Tom (talk) 22:52, February 14, 2014 (UTC)

He was alongside Michael Dorn and James Louis Watkins some nineteen years prior to his Klingon part played on Enterprise a finalist for the role of Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
