Ehm, why in an article called isolinear circuitry does one give a description of the siolinear chip? -- Redge | Talk 14:07, 26 Aug 2004 (CEST)

No idea if the info here is canon or not, but i've reorganized it a bit so it at least makes sense to read. Tyrant 16:06, 1 Mar 2005 (GMT)Tyrant

I've seperated them out, seems a bit more ordered now! Rob47 13:23, 8 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Scotty and isolinear circuitry Edit

The article states that Montgomery Scott was familiar with isolinear circuit technology as of "Relics". But as I recall from watching the episode, he never gave any particular acknowledgment of familiarity with isolinear technology when it was first mentioned to him by La Forge; rather, he seemed a bit dazed about all the new technology (including the isolinear circuitry) in the transporter room that he was in during that scene. A quick look at the transcript and script confirm this. I've removed the inaccurate line from the article, though I figured I'd explain it here on the talk page in case somebody who's seen the episode more recently than me can somehow confirm it after all. :-) Mdettweiler 05:05, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Citation needed Edit

Removed the following note, as it has lacked a citation for over two years.

  • Isolinear circuitry format employs holographic technology to store data three-dimensionally throughout the medium.
