Equinox Note Edit

An anon removed the following background note:

  • This episode shares similarities with VOY: "Equinox" in that the captain grows obsessive over achieving a certain goal, while officers question the captain's decisions. In the Voyager episode however, a mutiny is not actually staged, as Chakotay comments "I considered it (mutiny)- but that'd be crossing the line." Unlike Captain Archer, Captain Janeway is not under alien influence.

Deleted background note Edit

"This episode contains a continuity error. Immediately after Captain Archer is subdued by Commander Tucker, T'Pol states in her log that Enterprise has resumed course to Azati Prime, and the ship is shown traveling at warp speed. Shortly thereafter, in the final scene, a conversation between Archer and Tucker strongly implies that the ship has yet to leave orbit. "

It could just as easily, in my view, be explained by the fact that Archer had been sent to his quarters and was sleeping, thereby unaware of the fact that they were already en route to Azati Prime. -Randy 09:43, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Contradiction With Original Series Edit

This episode contradicts Chekov's statement in "The Tholian Web" that there has never been a mutiny on a starship before (that is if this Enterprise counts as a starship). The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk).

Technically, it wasn't an outright mutiny, as Archer was under the influence. It could also be that Chekov simply wasn't aware of it. 31dot (talk) 00:04, November 26, 2012 (UTC)
