hair styles should be here as well, this should link to the nervous system and fashion -<unsigned>
People/species without hair? Edit
I think it would be neat to add a list of characters that have been seen without hair (i.e. bald), whether it's natural (Jean-Luc Picard, Benjamin Sisko), etc.) or forced/temporary (Kathryn Janeway when assimilated). Also, a list of hairless species would be nice. - Intricated 05:18, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
Isn't hair part of the integument (i.e. skin, nails) rather than the nervous system?
I think this should be removed:
- The Federation Captain Jean-Luc Picard has been bald for most of his adult life. This was highlighted in 2379, when the crew of the USS Enterprise-E met a clone of Picard, known as Shinzon. (Star Trek Nemesis)
Shinzon was not necessarily naturally bald. It's odd that he had absolutely no hair, whereas Picard did have some hair well into the 2360s. Furthermore his academy photo from "Tapestry" would indicate a very full head of hair at Shinzon's approximate age. Just wanted to get another opinion before i removed it.— Vince47 16:20, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
There we are. But here it is just in case.

WHY AN I SO BALD?Edit
So, in the future there is still no cure for male pattern baldness?
- If there is, it was never said in canon. Picard obviously is bald by choice.--31dot 01:09, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Would it make sense to create a separate article for braid, the hairstyle? (from "Ashes to Ashes") And then subsequently bun, ponytail, etc... Unlike other hairstyles (fade, etc) they are distinct.--LauraCC (talk) 18:42, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
