(1860-1911) was a late Romantic Bohemian-Austrian Human composer and conductor. His contributions to the genres of song and symphony bridged the gap between Romanticism and Modernism. Among his works, Symphony No. 1 in D major, also known by its nickname "The Titan", was written between 1884 and 1888, and revised in 1894.
