Shuttlecraft and podEdit
just a quick question on this article.. is listing 'shuttlecraft' or 'shuttlepod' in the article name appropriate for these? Should these articles end up at "Pike" or "Shuttlepod Pike". any hints or Naming Conventions advice? --Captainmike 22:28, 1 Jun 2004 (CEST)
- I started Galileo (shuttlecraft) yesterday, without realising this page had a different format set out (I was working from linking in "The Galileo Seven"). They definitely shouldn't be at [[name]] (disambig would be better there). I would suggest the (shuttlecraft) suffix, simply because that how we've disambig'd other articles like Vulcan and Vulcan (planet), etc. -- Michael Warren 00:02, 2 Jun 2004 (CEST)
should the status of shuttles for the NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-D be changed to destroyed?
- That can't really be done, mainly since we have no data on which of the shuttles were in the secondary hull (Which would be destroyed) or in the main shuttlebay (which they would be fine, if not damaged). - Adm. Enzo Aquarius 20:21, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)
I noticed that several shuttles seen on screen are missing here, for example the type 7 used by Data and Worf to rescue/kidnap Picard/Locutus from the cube and the numerless shuttles destroyed on the Voyager. I also added a note that the Galileo shuttle craft in ST:TFF was heavilly damaged on landing and probably no longer active.- ACES HIGH 11:45, 2 Nov 2006 (PST)
Would it make sense to change the subject headings to something like Shuttles of the USS Enterprise so that the headings just above each table can be omitted? Currently it looks a little weird with the section heading followed by a table heading that is centered over the width of the page and then having the tables aligned at the left. - Avron 08:27, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
I ran across a reference to a Type IV shuttle craft, but i can't find anything on it in MA. If it helps, it was inferred to be a small craft, even according to shuttle craft specs; possible only able to achive escape velocity and only had room for 24 - 48 hrs provisions. to me this sounds like a paired down escape craft, but in researching shuttles i could not find any clasifications lowere then 6. anyone have any clues on this?– Farfallen 11:01, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- There are some classifications that come from the Star Trek Encyclopedia or the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, but those are non-canon, so they do not get articles on MA. --OuroborosCobra talk 17:14, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh, so nothing in cannon then? hmm, odd, well ok thx– Farfallen 23:41, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
