Is that the original TOS Enterprise in the fleet picture? Left side, just above center.
- Although this message should be on the discussion page of the image itself, I do not believe it would be the original Enterprise. It's probably a Steamrunner-class at a distance that it's nacelles seem to 'vanish'. - Enzo Aquarius 03:39, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
ship errors Edit
I've been rewatching parts of this episode and it seems that, in a couple shots, some of the Galaxy-class ships appear to have teh registry NCC-1701-D on their saucer sections. Do I bother noting this? Captain Spadaro (talk) 04:33, March 5, 2014 (UTC)
- No, that would be a nitpick as it was due to the special effects. Obviously Starfleet did not have multiple NCC-1701-Ds in the fleet, especially after we saw it destroyed. 31dot (talk) 12:40, March 5, 2014 (UTC)
- It might be my TV but I never noticed it before; but either way I'm not really sure what form such a note would take. 31dot (talk) 10:48, March 6, 2014 (UTC)
- OK, after looking through the episode screencaps on TrekCore, I personally can't see any examples of where "NCC-1701-D" is used on a Galaxy-class hull. The closest screencap I can find that even shows any hull markings is this one (bottom left) but the markings themselves are very blurred. Spadaro, if you could be more specific as to which scenes you saw the markings, we could perhaps find a screencap and add a note? Otherwise, it will have to remain out of the article. --| TrekFan Open a channel 11:05, March 6, 2014 (UTC)
