Summary

I've added alot to it, in particular, a nice summary. Tholian2000 00:17, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • That summary was hand written, with no "borrowing" from other sites. Any similarity to other summaries is incidental. I wish I was believed, but I guess since I'm not, I'll re-write it differently. I'm not too happy though. Tholian2000 17:29, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
I'll compare again, shall I? It's relatively easy to determine the source of information through a Google search:
Your version:
Deanna Troi suddenly awakens from a restless sleep to discover that she has somehow been transformed to look like a Romulan officer. Learning that she has also been transported aboard one of their warbirds, she is told by N'Vek, the vessel's Romulan Subcommander, that if she hopes to return to the USS Enterprise-D alive, she must pretend to be Major Rakal of the Tal Shiar, the Imperial Intelligence. Her instructions: to instruct the Romulan warbird commander to proceed to the Kaleb sector with a mysterious cargo. N'Vek then introduces Troi to Commander Toreth, who tries unsuccessfully to intimidate her. Undaunted, Troi orders a course for the new destination. Back on the Enterprise, Stefan DeSeve, a Starfleet ensign who defected to the Romulans years ago, is beamed aboard after risking his life to return to Federation space. Commander William Riker immediately places him under arrest for treason. DeSeve says it is urgent that he speak with Captain Jean-Luc Picard. The ensign tells Picard that Ambassador Spock would like the Enterprise to rendezvous with a Corvallen freighter and take its cargo back to Federation territory. Unbeknownst to Picard, the rendezvous point is in the same sector where Troi has ordered the Romulan warbird.

It is the same. -- Michael Warren | Talk 17:36, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • This new one isn't, and you'd better not remove it on a bias account. Tholian2000 17:53, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • What bias? And this new one is, as a simple Google search reveals: [2] leads to here. If you create a summary using your own words, then there will be no problem. -- Michael Warren | Talk 17:57, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • Your communist bias. Proprietary rights and pirating/copying are much more sophisticated than simply writing a new summary. --Vedek Dukat Talk | Duty Roster 18:03, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • Nope, that's not true, in fact, I checked that site out earlier to make sure nobody would say it was from there, and I'm suprised that it looks the same, it didn't to me. Tholian2000 18:05, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • Wow, now that I look at it, I see it is almost the same. I'm sorry. One of my buddies sent this to me last night saying he wrote it himself, and I fixed it up a bit. Sorry. Tholian2000 18:08, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • That's okay, we understand. But in the meantime could you tell your brother to stop vandalizing Memory Alpha? Oh and re your original comment you erased about checking to make sure no one mistook them for being the same: I know what you mean, I can't believe anyone would mistake a Romulan for a Vulcan or an Organian for a Human. --Vedek Dukat Talk | Duty Roster 18:12, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • You know, I'd been interested in seeing an episode summary structured by acts and making use of scenes in pictures we already have, so maybe it would be best to start this one over from scratch. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 18:10, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
  • Good idea, and once I cool down, along with you all, I just may start on it. Tholian2000 18:13, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)

At least that's all settled. Sorry you had to fall victim to Michael's communist bias. He can't help it being European and all. Hopefully we can avoid future incidents by making sure we don't submit our work to any other websites before we post it on Memory Alpha, ok? --Vedek Dukat Talk | Duty Roster 18:22, 29 Dec 2005 (UTC)
