Does anyone know any background information on the musical composition which became the major clue? What I'm wondering about is information similar to what's offered regarding the Ressikan flute tune that Picard learned in "The Inner Light" (see the second-last item in the "Background Information" section of that article for what I mean). - Ugliness Man 15:35, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- The only thing I know about it is that it is an original composition by Jay Chattaway, but that's about it I'm afriad – Bertaut 22:04, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
Have been searching a bit for the real world composer of the music played by Jadzia Dax (from her subconscious memories). Later, they found out it was written by Joran Belar of Trill.
I'm veering towards Jay Chattaway as the composer, but I could be wrong (assuming there's actually a whole piece of the music instead of just a few notes).
When Sisko and Bashir search through the Trill files, on the screen where they find Yolad Belar's name, there are many more names listed. I can't decipher them on my PC, maybe they're legible for someone else? Kennelly 14:21, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- "Batman Androbin", "Pacific Bell" and "Town of Bedrock" are some names there. -- DS9 Forever (talk) 13:13, September 7, 2012 (UTC)
Why past tense? Edit
- Well, according to MA:POV, episode summaries can be in either past or present tense. So you can change it if you wish. I personally prefer present tense as well.– Cleanse 08:04, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
New Orleans Edit
I don't think this is the first episode to establish Sisko is form New Orleans. He mentioned transporting back and forth from the academy to his home (in Orleans) before. The page on Transporter claims that was Explorers ep. - 3x22, but I'm pretty sure he said it in an earlier episode. Does anyone remember?
- I've just been rewatching it from the start and this is indeed the first episode that mentions New Orleans. He previously said his father was a chef a few times. 22.214.171.124 14:08, June 18, 2015 (UTC)
